Protesters wrap Govt House with flag

Anti-government protesters from the Network of Students and People for Reform of Thailand on Friday morning draped a 1.4km Thai flag around Government House, trapping police officers inside.

After removing barbed wire barriers outside Government House on Thursday, protesters sealed the compound with the large flag, so no one can go in or out without their permission.

Amorn Amornrattananon, one of the core leaders of the student group, said protesters found that police had secretly rotated officers manning the compound force in the early hours of the morning, so the group decided to take a creative approach to monitoring movements in and out of Government House.

Pheu Thai and the UDD already claim the distinction of having divided the Thai people into "good and bad".

Comment Mr. Amerman. You're dead wrong. Whoever is the paymaster, the concern shall work and follow instruction until when and then a paymaster changing hands. Your remarks is totally out of order and uncalled for.

1. You see nothing wrong with this? If someone do this to your place, is there no wrong? Cut off your electricity and water. Is this no wrong?peaceful? Where is Public Order and Safety? 2. Your Prime Minister crying on TV, and people are cheerful. How could Thai expect your prime minister enjoy respects in diplomatic occassions in future? 3. 3 Oct 2013-US Capitol shooting: Woman killed by police after trying to ram White House gates before fleeing across Washington

It's a peaceful demonstration of democratic opinion. I see nothing wrong with this. And cloth is not going to hinder people from going in or out. It's also colorful and patriotic. No harm done to anyone.

This is going too far and should have been stop unless there will be more bloodshed. If protesters want to see more bloodshed on the ground then it is ok but don't blame on thers.

It is not a place standing for power and authority anymore. How can the people sitting inside be confident to work in future? How orders and decisions from here will be followed? If any groups can do this anytime....
