CPP files Bangkok MP candidates

Representatives of the Chart Pattana Party (CPP), led by advisory chairman Suwat Liptapanlop, on Tuesday registered election candidates in all 33 constituencies of Bangkok.

The registration was filed at an application centre inside the Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana road.  They were accompanied by a large number of supporters of the political party.

Among the candidates are former Thai tennis star Paradorn Srichaphan and popular Thai taekwondo athlete Yaowapha Buraphonchai.

No anti-election protesters showed up at the registration centre.

There were also no candidates from other political parties.

Great to hear and the way it should be. Now figure out why only a certain few spots in the south are troublemakers.
