Two killed, five hurt in South attacks

Five rangers were wounded in a bomb explosion while on foot patrol near a school in Narathiwat's Cho Airong district and two villagers shot dead in Pattani's Nong Chik district on Monday morning, reports said.

In Narathiwat, a home-made bomb was detonated when a team of six rangers from Ranger Task Force 4810 was patrolling near Ban Chuwa School in tambon Marubo Ok.

The explosion, about 10am, wounded five of the six rangers, one of them seriously. They were admitted to Cho Airong Hospital.

In nearby Nong Chik district of Pattani, gunmen opened at villagers travelling on motorcycles to a market at Ban Tha Kubo in tambon Pulo Puyo.

Two people, a man and a woman, were killed in the attack.

Police were investigating.

Same story. The fugitive was PM when soldiers were ordered to fire on locals in a mosque, he was still pm when locals were hogtied, stacked on top of each other in trucks and left to suffocate in the heat of the day. This is just another aspects of the fugitives legacy to the nation.

Army General should focus here, he must have his men & Armour deployed here not in Bangkok, it can only happen with Thai Army to keep their Tanks & APC in the city & let their Soldiers walk or in Toyota pickup trucks. Herd this killings for many years & many generals came & went yet no much interest has been shown towards there. People could raise such issues with Army & Govt!
