In a prosecution lawsuit, Jirasak Klinkhlai, 33; Jakkrit's mother-in-law Surang Duangjinda, 72; his wife Nitiwadee Pucharoenyos, and Santi Thongsem, 33, have been named as defendants for colluding in the murder of the former national sports shooter.
All defendants officially denied the charges at the Min Buri provincial court yesterday. The court set March 24 for the examination of evidence.Jakkrit, 41, was gunned down on the night of Oct 19 by a motorcycle pillion passenger while he was driving near Ramkhamhaeng Soi 166 in Min Buri district.
Jirasak, the alleged gunman, was later apprehended in Chon Buri's Si Racha district. He allegedly told police he had been hired to kill Jakkrit by Mr Santi, a lawyer.
Ms Surang also earlier admitted to police that she had hired the gunmen to kill her son-in-law. The other defendants have denied any involvement in the killing from the start.
