PDRC march to raise cash for farmers

Anti-government protesters under the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) aim to raise a 10 million baht fund to help farmers in their fight for payment for crops pledged to the government's rice-pledging scheme.

PDRC secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban said they would march this Friday and again on Monday to raise money to help  the farmers.

The march on Friday morning started at Sathorn bridge, moving along Charoen Krung road and then right into to Silom to reach the final destination at Lumpini park.

The PDRC has not yet announced the marching route on Monday.

Ahhhh -looking for support from the farmers - great move - only it doesn't change the situation. Regardless of his cause a peoples council will not happen. It's called grasping at straws!

Are the Yellows and the Reds coming together against PTP? Is "The enemy of my enemy is my friend," coming to pass in front of our very eyes?
