NACC compound hit by grenade

An MK2 grenade was thrown into the compound of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) in Nonthaburi last night. No injuries were reported.

Passersby heard an explosion at 8.15pm in front of an ATM booth inside the compound, police said.

The blast took place a day after two grenades were hurled into the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road.

The NACC has been in the spotlight after it pressed charges against caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra for alleged dereliction of duty in the rice-pledging scheme.
