PDRC withdraws from Channel 11

Protesters of the Peole's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) on Sunday morning withdrew from Channel 11 television station on Vibhavadi Rangsit road after spending two nights there.

Thaworn Sennean, a PDRC co-leader, went up the stage and spoke through loud speakers telling for the protesters to move out of Channel 11 to two locations - Lumpini Park and to Makhawan Rangsan bridge on Ratchadamnern road.  They all would subsequently move to join Mr Suthep at Government House on Monday.

The protesters had reportedly left the station's compound before 11.30am, allowing workers of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to move in for a major clean-up.

Meanwhile, at Channel 3 on Rama 4 road, PDRC leaders Nathapol Teepsuwan, Ms Taya Teepsuwan, Sakonthee Phattiyakul and Anchalee Paireerak, announced that they would lead the protesters back to Lumpini Park at 2pm.

Mr Nathapol said the PDRC's gathering at Channel was not a threat on the media and the protesters had not intruded into restricted areas.
