Poj Aramwattananont, president of the Thai Frozen Foods Association, said eight associations involved in various fishery industries had worked to perpare a unified "roadmap" - but he refused to say where the map was supposed to lead.

The Federation of Thai Fishery Producers has claimed it has worked steadly to eliminate slavery ad abuses along the industry supply chain.

The federation said all workers in the fish and shrimp industries are legally registered. Mr Poj said almost all raw materials for the feed are imported, so these two industries should be removed from any human trafficking watch list.
