China spikers down Thailand in 4 sets

The Thai women's volleyball team were beaten by China on Friday in the 2014 World Grand Prix in Hong Kong.

China won the first two sets 29-27 and 25-18 before the World No. 12 Thailand came back to win the third set 25-20. The World No. 5 easily won the final set 25-15.

The two teams played their first match in Pool F of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2014 at Hong Kong Coliseum.

The victory was the seventh straight for China in World Grand Prix matches played in Hong Kong.

China is now 12-2 against Thailand in the World Grand Prix.

Thailand will meet Italy on Saturday.
