Cycling Plus Thailand editor dies

The man behind the success of Cycling Plus Thailand magazine died of lymphoma cancer on Sunday. He was 44.

Ittirit Prakhamthong, the magazine's editor-in-chief, had been treated at Lat Phrao Hospital. Funeral rites are being held until Thursday at Wat Lat Phrao and the cremation ceremony will be held on Saturday.

Ittirit joined Post International Media to set up the monthly magazine and worked hard to make it a success.

Ittirit was an avid environmentalist. A keen yoga practitioner, he inspired people to stay healthy through his yoga classes and his online magazine, Arunothai.

Ittirit inspired people into living the green lifestyle and to take up cycling.

He worked with Green World Foundation and Greenpeace before joining the Thai version of the United Kingdom magazine based in Bath.
