Former Udon Thani MP Thongdee dies

Thongdee Manisarn, a former Pheu Thai MP for Udon Thani, died on Wednesday morning of bone cancer. He was 68.

Thongdee had been treated at Udon Thani Hospital.  Yesterday afternoon, his relatives took him back to his home at Don Yang Dieo village in tambon Phon Ngam of Nong Han district where he died this morning at 5.30am.

A bathing rite for Thongdee will be held at his home on Wednesday at 3pm.

Thongdee was a former kamnan of tambon Phon Ngam in Udon Thani's Nong Han district.  He ran for the House of Representatives for the first time under the Thai Rak Thai Party banner and was elected.  After that he was elected in three other elections under Thai Rak Thai, People Power and Pheu Thai banners.
