So the muslim Terrorists are now dictating to the local population in the Southern Provinces, when they can & cannot work, rest & pray?

Still I am amazed by the evident apathy in the local communities, normally Thais are not slow to gang up and take justice into their own hands, but here...one killing and bomb after another and not even a local outcry, demonstration or anything else, if they wanted they could sort it out easily. Only times we see a public outcry from the South appear to be when the military makes a bad move and in the process kills civilians by mistake .... but when soldiers die...quiet, very quiet.

So Thailand has lose the battle in the south and embracing muslim law by closing all the shops on Friday? Very soon Bangkok may follow suit because we have a very incapable government.

Time to come down hard on these militants with a coordinated effort that includes educating the locals that it is in their best interests to not cooperate with them as their economic and actual lives are at stake.

Wow, it's come to the point where the murder of a 60 and 61 year old family down there now gets a mere line at the bottom of an article. Whats the view/plan of the 'response center' in Bangkok ?
