The phrase “Elder Generous, BKK” is being talked about and shared on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The poster is a 22-year-old university student working part time as a product presenter.
In her Facebook page “Manta Thamonmanta Suksawas (PinkZie)”, the student posted a snapshot of the conversation between her and a man whose Facebook name was “Suvit Chai”.
Man: Elder Generous, BKKWoman: So?Man: Tell me what you want and I can help youMan: Rent payment or car installmentMan: Quiet…. Hmm maybe you aren’t short (on money)
However, netizens also criticised the woman for slandering the man publicly.
Therefore, she posted her side of the story on her Facebook a few days after the first post in response to the disapproving comments against her.
Her posts said: “Someone told me he will sue me for slandering his name. Many people have been arrested because of this … is it true? Can anybody tell me?
“There are two sides of the coin. Some people applaud me for telling the truth while many have also said bad things to me for what I have done.
“Some also question me, like … Why have you captured your own picture? Finding a quick way to be famous?”
The product presenter said she did not want to be famous but wanted to expose the man to teach him a lesson for being impolite and disrespectful to women.
She admitted to doing the same to many other men who had approached her in similar way.
“Check my Facebook, you can find many more of them there. I did it because no one else dares to do it. And it’s the only way to stop them from harassing me as well as other women,” she added.
Many netizens said she was too harsh on the man, saying that her post could destroy a family.
Ms Manta said, “What about me? His post is an insult to me and my profession. These men think we product presenters will do anything for money. He has no respect for women. If I was your friend or your family, would you allow someone to insult me like that.”Meanwhile, the Facebook “Suvit Chai” page has been closed down. Many gossip reporters and columnists who visited his page said his friend list contained only girls and product presenters.
Nevertheless, a page called “Kae Jaidee sport Kor Tor Mor” or “Elder Generous, BKK” has been set up and has been visited by many online goers.
The page contains the man’s pictures and his famous “quotes” have gone viral among young posters.
One netizen said, “The page should serve as a lesson to all the horny men to think twice before trying to offer money to young women for sex.” Many agreed.

So let me see if I've got this straight: this girl has a picture of herself with her highly-polished, hydraulically-powered breasts almost bursting through the minimal restraint offered by her Wonderbra and then complains when a guy propositions her.
She's THAI. She KNOWS that conservative Thai society regards provocatively-dressed, surgically-enhanced Thai women as "available for a price". If she didn't want that kind of attention, she should have had a less sexually-charged photo as her profile picture. I'm not saying that a woman shouldn't be free to "express" herself but she's old enough to know that there are advantages to being cons

Unfortunately for him, he picked the wrong girl.
But, in a culture where 'giks' and 'mia nois' are as common as water, it's also a reality, that many young Thai women, if approached in such a manner would likely be receptive.

I don't see the women doing anything wrong. If the man dare approach her, he shouldn't be afraid to be revealed. If he is, he should have used an anonymous picture. The lady was just sharing it with her friends and it became viral, it not as if she posted on public forums to shame this man.

Had this man been a young guy I'm sure she would have said nothing. When you show yourself in Facebook or any dating site dressed like her your going to get money advances like this man did. Normal. Im 100% sure this was not her first.

I will say she appears to be deliberating enticing men and looks like any one of the thousands of free lancers that work Bangkok. So common.

If this young lady wants to me meet more appropriate men, she should rethink her attire.

Popular online dating sites are filled with women seeking financial support both English and Thai language. It seems to not be uncommon in society for whatever reasons, that is simply the reality, the way it is. Not limited to males/females/heterosexuals either. Money doesn't talk, it swears where a high % simply don't know any other way.
Perhaps it is just an extension of the patronage system.

I'm still wondering why the "fake" Facebook page for Suvit Chai has photos of a conversation which show all of "PinkZie" parts of the conversation blurred out. There seems to be a lot more to this.

"Many netizens said she was too harsh on the man, saying that her post could destroy a family."
What?? He is the one who made the indecent proposal but somehow she gets the blame for being a home wrecker?
On the other hand, while his offer was indecent and perhaps lewd, I don't see how it was insulting. She should have been big enough to politely decline and let that be that. There's simply no need to air dirty laundry on one's Facebook page.

Note: PinkZie only shares her information with some of her friends...

Maybe she should have a look at the pictures she published from herself, what is the first thing popping in your eyes? A hint: it’s not her face.

The opposite thing happens to men all the time as well.

Aha, it's my epiphany that the famous "short" was actually from "short on money". I thought it means something like "spark [her interest, etc.]". (Cleary, the Tata Young's song came to my mind when I heard that for the first time.)
P.S. What's the point of censoring the old man's face in the first photo and then completely exposing him in the next?

And where is the problem now? Everyone can talk anything, aren't we in a democracy?
