Yes, it's hot but the worst may be over in four or five days according to weather forecasters. Over the next three of four days, parts of the North, Northeast and Central regions will see temperatures at or above 40 degrees Celsius (That's 104 degrees Farenheit if you come from the US.)

Bangkok will be slightly "cooler" with temperatures between 37 and 39. If the forecasters are right, we here in Bangkok should see a big drop in temperature by Friday. We may even get a thunderstorm or two.
The Department of Disease Control says that 2500 - 3000 cases of heat stroke are reported every year. Fortunately, beating the heat can be delicious.
