The Supreme Court has upheld the ruling of a lower court on anti-coup activist Sombat Boonngamanong.

The leader of the Red Sunday group was fined 3,000 baht and sentenced to one year behind bars - but the jail term was suspended, the court said on Wednesday.

The ruling was in line with that of the Appeal Court on June 30 last year.
