Danthai Boonma claimed his third All Thailand Golf Tour title after storming to a five-shot victory at the Singha E-San Open 2019 yesterday.

Holding a two-shot advantage after three rounds, the 23-year-old Danthai closed with a five-under-par 67 to finish on 20-under 268 at Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club.

Witchayanon Chotihiranrungrueng finished second on 15-under 273 following his final round 70.

"I'm so happy to have won the tournament for the second time," said Danthai, who won the event in 2017 for his second ATGT title. "I'm also pleased with how I was able to execute my gameplan today.

"It wasn't until the very last hole that I was certain that I would win the title.

"I won here two years ago for my second ATGT title, so winning again is very special for me," added the Sukhothai native, who took home the 450,000-baht winner's cheque.

"I know this course very well because I have been playing here since my junior years. I think that's why I always do well here," added Danthai, who explained the Singha Park Khon Kaen wide layout suited his game and he felt very comfortable around the greens."

Pavit Tangkamolprasert, who closed with a 70 for a 14-under 274 total, was third while Chonlatit Chuenboonngam (66), Johannes Veerman of United States (71) and Sadom Kaewkanjana (71) shared fourth place on 12-under 276.

Thanyakorn Khrongpha (69) finished tied for seventh on nine under while defending champion Rattanon Wannasrichan (71), Suradit Yongchareongchai (72), Kosuke Hamamoto (69) and Tawit Polthai (68) were joint 18th on five under.

Itthipat Buranatanyarat (74), veterans Prayad Marksaeng (73) and Thaworn Wiratchant (70) shared 22nd on 4-under and took home 32,325 baht each.

Itthipat won the Boonchu Ruangkit Championship last month.
